Between October 20-23, 2021, Felix A Debrenti, President of the Youth Atlantic Treaty Association of Hungary, and Vice-President of the Hungarian Atlantic Council and YATA International participated as speakers at The Rīga Conference 2021 in Latvia.
Topics such as the role of data in security policy; the crisis in Afghanistan and its long-term effects; economic and military competition between the US and China; the new Strategic Concept of NATO, as well as a number of other exciting topics were discussed at the four-day conference.
Speakers at the conference included Latvian Prime Minister Krišjānis Kariņš, Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas, UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres, Canadian Minister of Defense Harjit Sajjan, Deputy Secretary General of NATO Baiba Braze and a number of other speakers as well.
